The mid-weight jersey retains a subtly rugged surface while offering a soft touch and reassuring sense of substance when worn. In contrast to the inherently robust, casual character of the fabric, the all-over print is rendered in softened tones with gently blurred contours. This deliberate tension between textile and image tempers the visual impact of the graphic, allowing its hazy, atmospheric palette to settle naturally into the surface rather than appearing overtly printed. Inspired by the 27SS collection, “Remnant -光跡-,” the all-over graphic depicts a fictional lakeside landscape illuminated by the first light of morning, drawn exclusively for the collection by the designer. Reflections across the water, scenery dissolving into mist, and colors shifting with the passage of time are reconstructed not as a literal representation of nature, but as an apparition suspended within memory. Fragments of a landscape that emerge through light before gradually disappearing are dispersed across the garment, forming a symbolic expression of the collection’s exploration of traces left by light. The graphic gradually transitions into deeper tones toward the hem. By intentionally concentrating visual weight at the lower portion of the garment, the image is designed not to exist in isolation, but to flow naturally into the trousers or shorts worn beneath. When styled, the boundary between top and bottom becomes visually softened, allowing the complete look to read as a continuous landscape. The silhouette is cut slightly shorter in length with generous width through the body, creating a compact, boxy proportion. Designed to balance naturally with wide-leg and voluminous bottoms, it establishes a contemporary silhouette with minimal styling. Pair with denim and sneakers for a street-oriented approach, or with tailored trousers and leather shoes for a more refined, directional contrast.
